Alfred Hitchcock's "The Birds"

I had to share this...

WOW ~ I saw "The Birds" for the first time late last night on demand. This has to be one of the scariest films I've had the pleasure of seeing. IF you have not seen this dark gem, please RUN to rent the video! You vintage horror film fans will not be disappointed...very disturbing film!

Loved this movie. Went to the theatre to see it when it first came out...I was a kid and it scared the ba-geebers out of me, but I went to see it 3 more times after that. Still enjoy it when it comes out on the TCM...have a great weekend.

This movie and "The Fly" gave me the shivers!! And throw a little "Creature From the Black Lagoon" for good measure.

Now THAT is a real horror movie! I was a chap when I saw it for the first time and needless to say I didn't sleep at all that night!
You don't need all that killing with a chain saw to be skeery!
To this day it still skeer's me!
Alfred Hitchcock was the best!!

It is a great movie, isn't it! And here's a little trival info for you...my great grandmother grew up on Bodega Bay and actually went to school in the schoolhouse used in the film. How cool is that!

This movie scared the bejesus out of me when I was a kid. To this day it freaks me out if I go into a pet store and there are large birds left out of their cages....I walk allllllll the way around the store on the other side, lol...

I LOVE Hitchcock and The Birds is one of my favorites! In fact, I am doing a "Birds" theme for my Halloween decor on the outside of my house this year! Hitchcock was the master!
