NEW Halloween PC ~ 1st of 2008!

Here is the 2nd of this week's new Halloween postcards. Due to the response from my postcard poll, I have decided to continue doing a "mix" of different type/style cards. This one was done in pen/ink on a tea-stained postcard stock to invoke a vintage time worn charm. I am SO proud of the composition and notice JOL's friends; cat & owl!

I will be doing one regular Halloween piece and one Valloween piece each week leading up to Valentine's! Enjoy '-)

Piece is titled "Swing Time," and this auction ends on 1/12/08.

Swing Baby Swing... you know I adore this one!

Thanks again Lori! I loved how you described what you thought of the design elements in group. I thought leaving more open space...no stars/etc. added to the charm and made you wonder if it was a daytime or night time scene. SO, I appreciate what you said...you got the look I was going for!!! '-)

Hi Mimi,

Thanks on my new PC!

The original "Pumpkin Witch" canvas was actually 9 x 12"...that pic is a PhotoShop trick for dramatic purposes! LOL '-)

Love the swinging punkinhead, Chris!
Have you ever done any block printing? Bet it would lend itself well to your style, and you could make limited edition prints that way, more bang for your time.
