I was inspired to create this piece (which is not for sale) in response to my feelings about the terrorist attacks in Paris, France on Nov. 13, 2015.  My heart and thoughts are with those that lost their lives and that were seriously hurt by the heinous attacks.  Prayers are being sent and be strong Paris!

I recently asked my good artist friend Jodi Creager for a big favor. Jodi is a whiz with Photo Shop and photo manipulation, so I asked her to make a fun new series of Vamp CK web ready pictures of me. Jodi never disappoints and I'm just tickled black & white with the results! You can see all the variations on my blog background, personal Facebook, About CK section here, and about me on my website.

SO I had to return the favor and send her a special gift as a thank you. I knew Jodi had not yet experienced my art in person so I sent her an original postcard that I thought she would enjoy. Jodi's husband Richard beautifully framed my "Queen of Hearts" postcard and it just looks great! ~ Tickled you both enjoyed the CK original and thanks again for your friendship.

Heading to Florida ~ 700th Blog Post Giveaway!

Hi Folks,

I'll be flying to Orlando, Florida on Thurs. Oct. 7th to do my very first Halloween art show. I've buttoned down the hatches and I'm finalizing last minute trip details. I'm rolling a mini vacation into the trip after the art show and won't be returning until Wed. Oct. 13th.

I'm SO excited to share the news about my new book "Halloween Tarot Dreams."

Back in 2008 at the urging of a fellow artist friend, I decided to do a limited edition set of Halloween inspired Tarot postcards. This one of a kind postcard series comprised of my versions of the Major Arcana cards is featured in this book in it's entirety!

I've had many requests to offer prints, and or create a full deck of these very special postcards over the past two years. I also wanted to author a magical coffee table art book of my work. I thought creating a book commemorating the whole series would be a novel concept.

Update ~ I'm now offering a soft cover version too for a lower price at $19.95.

A Pfun Artist Trade! :-)

Hi Folks,

I wanted to share the FUN artist trade I did recently with one of my favorite artists Lisa Nelson. Lisa and I are fans of each others work. I wanted to add one of her delicious STJ ornaments to my growing Halloween tree ornament collection. In exchange for her "Evil Jack" ornament, I sent her my recent "Bell Tower Bats" postcard. Lisa thoughtfully sent me a picture of her new framed CK art. The frame is beautiful and lends itself well to the antiqued sepia tones. Lisa I adore your vibrant ornie and it will have a treasured place on my 2010 Halloween tree!

Thanks SO much again for doing the trade Lisa, it was like my birthday all over again! '-)
