CK Christmas Tree ~ 2008

Hi Folks,

Here is my main Christmas tree in all its glory. I did a winter wonderland theme with gold ornaments this year. The 500 lights are clear and are a mix of incandescent twinkling and LED C5 soft white.

I had to share the spookilicious goodies my sweet friend Marie Whitman (aka: Marie Antoinette) sent me in the mail yesterday!

A gorgeous Carnivale mask, Voodoo doll, gold glittered peacock ornament, muse magnet, New Orleans Voodoo pencil, and peppermint candy Christmas tree (not shown).

Halloween Night Pictures! ~ (Part 2)

A GREAT Halloween was had by all! ALL the kids said my house was the "best" one!

That made all the hard work worth it!!!

Specs.: 2 months worth of prep, planning, & execution. Over 2,000 lights both incandescent and LED were used. 5 real pumpkins were carved. Haunted tunes and a real fog machine were used. Over 1,000 pieces of candy were handed out to the lil' tricksters!

Sorry it has taken me SO long to get them on my blog!

Here is another picture of my 2008 interior Halloween decorations. My spooky fireplace mantle replete with spider webbing, orange LED lights, candles, pine cones, and a pair of EHAG artist Elona Engelke's stuffed fabric black cats. Enjoy!

Kristen's BOO-tiful Tree!

Had to share Kristen Beason's wonderful Halloween tree! Kristen had the coolest idea of taking my "Trick or Treat" postcard print and making a framed ornament from it. TOO cool I tell you...hmmm...thinking...I need to make one for my tree NOW! '-)

~ My 2008 Halloween Tree ~

My 2008 Halloween tree is now ready for it's close-up. I have added a new slide show to the top of my blog. The tree slide show will remain until Halloween. Enjoy! :-)

***EHAG artist ornaments: JoycEE (tree topper), Carolee, Kim, Nana (Lori), Melissa, Kristen, Nina (formerly in EHAG), and several by me.***

MANY other artist's ornies from both eBay & Etsy.

Tree Specs: 6 ft. tall pencil tree I spray-painted gloss jet black w/ 3-4 cans Krylon Fusion (for plastic) paint. 500 blood red (scarlet GE) lights. Vintage blow-mold plastic pumpkins (10) with clear lights. I spider webbed the tree with Halloween web & cheese cloth.

JOL's: Two are artificial pumpkins (left & right), I carved last year. The center Terra-cotta JOL was from Illuminations.

Hi All,

It's OFFICIAL and today (Feb. 13) is the BIG DAY! I am 30 something again!!! LOL '-)

I am so very blessed here and elsewhere with all of my lovely new/old friends. I want to thank each and everyone of you for making my days brighter!

First, I would like to share the lovely vintage Art Deco Bridge tally that my sweet friend Kimberlee sent me. Kimberlee thanks SO much for all the goodies and for being U!

First on the agenda today will be McDonald's breakfast; 2 bacon,egg, & cheese biscuits with 2 hash browns (guilty pleasure)! Next will be having a lovely Mexican dinner out on the town with my best friend in the whole entire world; my Mom. Top shelf Margaritas will be had and enjoyed! My partner took me out this past Saturday for a lovely fillet Mignon dinner at Copelands. This weekend will be a family sit-down beef stroganoff dinner hosted by my lively grandmother. I try to have the Oprah birthday and spread it out over a week! Hehe

On the Eve of the New Year

Hello,

I am sitting here again contemplating all the blessings of 2007. Thanks to all of my old/new friends that visit me here on a regular basis! I enjoy all the lovely and inspirational posts left for me on my blog. I delight in reading each and every post!

I will be staying in this New Year's Eve with loved ones watching the ball drop on TV. Some cocktails and nibbles will add to the festive occasion!

I am in the midst of recording/watching one of my favorite TV shows of ALL time "The Twilight Zone!" SciFi channel is running a 2-day New Year's marathon. Catch some of the classic old episodes if you get a chance! (SciFi Website ~ The Twilight Zone Marathon)
